Local News Story: "Local Hells Angels are among those being fined under the province's new excessive speeding laws.
RCMP say two Angels have lost their rides and been fined after doing an estimated 160 kilometres an hour through the 80 km an hour construction zone in the run-up to the Port Mann Bridge.
Officers tried to catch up to them before the bridge but were outrun.
A police helicopter spotted them on the other side of the Port Mann and rolled video tape as the outlaw bikers weaved through traffic at high-speeds in a construction zone along the Trans Canada Highway in Burnaby.
They took the 1st Avenue exit in Burnaby and headed towards the Nomad Chapter clubhouse on the Vancouver/Burnaby border.
In video released to the media a voice on the tape says the bikes 'blew through a red' en route, although a careful examination of the video appears to show the bikers racing through the intersection at what may have been an advance green for left hand turns.
The video shows the pair arriving at a Hell's Angels clubhouse, where a number of full-patch members and others can be seen outside in the street.
At one point while the two bikes are parked, they are somehow knocked over to the amusement of the person who's voice is heard on the tape."
