Suspected Hells Angel arrested
A suspected Hells Angels Motorcycle Club member wanted in connection with a Manteca homicide has been arrested in Oakdale, the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said Monday. Investigators sought Brandon James Gann, 30, in connection with the Aug. 15 shooting outside a business in the 17000 block of Ideal Parkway, off Highway 120 east of Manteca. Danny Martinez, 26, of Lathrop was killed in the shooting and another man was injured. The shooting was an apparent act of retaliation, San Joaquin County investigators have said. Gann at the time was a known associate of the Hells Angels Nomads, while Martinez and the other victim were full patch members of the Most Envied Motorcycle Club. The Oakdale Police Department arrested Gann in Oakdale on April 10 without incident. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail on the charge of possessing a loaded firearm in public. Bail is set at $150,500.
